On September 22, 1925, 18-year-old John Rounsaville murdered his stepson 6-month-old George Rounsaville in Summerville, Georgia. George as most babies do was crying. This annoyed John to the extreme as he had already hated the child because he was not his own. John would punch George in the head and then strangle the child until his neck broke killing him.
John was convicted and sentenced to be executed. On July 12, 1927, he was executed at 11:20 am and pronounced dead.
